Vijay Goradia, Director
Mr. Goradia is a self-made success story. As an immigrant from India in the 1970s, he had a vision to develop an international chemical trading company. From a start-up, Mr. Goradia grew Vinmar International Ltd. into a prominent global distribution company with over $4 billion in sales and 25 offices worldwide.
Mr. Goradia is Chairman of Vinmar International Ltd. and serves on the Board of Lion Copolymer Ltd., Ascend Performance Materials, and other petrochemical manufacturing companies.
Gene Kenyon, Managing Director
Mr. Kenyon has over forty (40) years in the petrochemical industry and currently heads Goradia Capital’s acquisitions group. Previously, he was the Senior Vice-President for commercial activities at Sterling Chemicals and spent almost thirty (30) years at Shell Chemical. His last assignment at Shell was President of Shell Chemical Risk Management Company. During his career, Mr. Kenyon has been involved with all commercial activities of a chemical company including business management, marketing, procurement, M & A, and strategic development.
Nitin Dalal, Vice President
Mr. Dalal has over thirty (30) years of senior management experience in the chemical industry including twenty-five (25) years with ExxonMobil Chemicals with responsibilities for capital planning, supply chain, project development, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Nitin earned his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Institute of Technology in India and his master’s degree from Columbia Univerity.
Tom Wells, Vice President
Mr. Wells has over thirty five (35) years of experience in Treasury, Risk Management, Trade Finance, International Banking and Capital Markets transactions. He is primarily responsible for financing Goradia Capital projects and works closely with their group of lenders to obtain debt financing for its acquisitions.
Mr. Wells has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management
Rich Furlin, Vice President
Mr. Furlin has over thirty (30) years in Accounting, Finance, and Acquisitions. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Ultramar Oil and Gas and Benchmark Equity Group. He has been actively involved in evaluations of companies and mergers and acquisitions for over twenty-five (25) years. Mr. Furlin works closely with the financial group of the companies Goradia Capital manages and closely monitors financial results, costs, and finance matters.
Mr. Furlin earned his bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. from the University of Rochester in the 1970s and a post-masters degree in Taxation from Iona College. He is a C.P.A. in the states of New York and Texas.
Mark Antonvich, General Counsel
Mark has over twenty-seven (27) years as an attorney for various chemical companies, including Hexion Specialty Chemicals Inc, Resolution Performance Products LLC and Resolution Specialty Materials LLC, and Vinmar International. He has been involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions in his capacity as General Counsel.
Mark earned his degree at Georgetown University Law Center and began his legal career in private practice in Washington, D.C.
Suresh D Gehi, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gehi has over thirty (30) years experience in Accounting & Tax. He has formerly worked for Deloitte and Accenture. His specialties include tax planning, tax research, tax compliance, and IRS and state audits. He can also design, build and run business processes in SAP ERP.
Mr. Gehi earned his B.B.A. in accounting from Texas A&M University, Kingsville and M.S. in accounting from the University of Houston. He is a CPA in the state of Texas.
Paula Sharp, Senior Director, Human Resources
Ms. Sharp has over thirty-five (35) years in the energy industry and is responsible for Human Resources. She was the Vice President of Human Resources for TPC Group and also worked for BP, Lyondell-CITGO and Unocal in Human Resources. Paula has taught at Rice University’s School of Continuing Studies, the University of Houston, DePaul University’s School of Continuing Studies and Keller Graduate School of Management. She holds an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago, as well as, several Human Resources certifications.
